SPAR Point Group has selected long-time Leica Geosystems High Definition Surveying marketing executive Geoff Jacobs as its first interviewee to launch the Insider podcast series.
The new series is intended to give SPAR’s audience of professionals who are interested in 3D imaging access to “leadership insights that are driving today’s dynamic marketplace”. In the premiere podcast, SPAR Editor Sean Higgins interviews Jacobs in a 15-minute, one-on-one interview about his industry background. Jacobs also gives tips and resources for those looking to enter the laser scanning industry. His responses cover several suggestions, such as specific online resources, talking openly with mainstream users, and having vendors do complete field-to-finish demos to create final deliverables.
Finally, Jacobs discusses where the industry is in its progression, giving examples of segments that are already main stream and others that are still in early stage adoption.
