A major attraction at HxGN LIVE is The Zone, the conference’s technology expo showcasing forward-thinking technologies and revolutionary stories in more than 45, 000 square feet.
A star highlight of the Surveying & Infrastructure sub-track will be the Leica Nova MultiStation, available for demonstration in The Zone.
The new dimension in measuring technology
The only instrument to combine
Used in a range of applications, from building the longest tunnel in the world to monitoring the ice cap of Europe’s tallest peak, the MultiStation provides unchallenged accuracy and quality for novices and experts alike.
The world’s first and only MultiStation enabled engineers to create a modern marvel in the third suspension bridge over the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul as it was the “only instrument which can scan accurately and at speed over the range required” for the project.
With a scan range of up to 1,000 meters, the MultiStation was the ideal total station for scanning two cooling towers in Turkey with “sighting distances usually increas(ing) to over 300 metres, which would have made it impossible to use conventional laser scanners. With the Leica Nova MultiStation, though, sighting distances like this are no problem at all.”
The MultiStation, bringing together precision 3D scanning, extensive and precise total station capabilities, digital imagery and GNSS connectivity, can help any geospatial business add value and get ahead.
